TENNIS AND PICKLEBALL COURT RULES
1. The tennis and pickleball courts are open throughout the year and are accessible from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. The courts may be closed at any time for repair, leagues, tournaments, or clinics with approval from the Board of Directors.
2. Court keys are available upon request at the HF office. Courts will be monitored periodically to insure that only authorized persons are playing. Residents must not loan tennis keys to others or open gates for players who arrive without keys or are not a member of the residents group.
3. Residents may invite guests to play provided they are accompanied by the host member and limit play to one court.
4. An adult must supervise children under the age of six.
5. Children under the age of sixteen are not allowed to reserve courts after 5:00 p.m. during the months of June, July and August.
6. Court reservations may be made one day in advance. A reservation calendar is provided at the courts.
7. Reservations are limited to 1-1/2 hours for both singles and doubles play. Courts may not be reserved for successive time periods. Players who retain a vacant court beyond the 1-1/2 hour limit will immediately give way to other players arriving to play.
8. The resident desiring to use the court must make the reservations.
9. Reservations are valid for 15 minutes after the reserved time.
10. Players or spectators will observe the official and updated rules posted at the courts.
11. Players are required to wear proper court footwear.
12. Food and drinks in unbreakable containers are allowed in the court area provided that refuse is disposed of in the trash receptacles provided.
13. Playing loud music is prohibited.
14. No pets, bicycles, motor bikes, skates, skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, or large toys are allowed on the courts at any time.
15. Under no circumstances will climbing on the tennis or pickleball nets or fences be allowed.
16. For court security, please close gates tightly upon entering and exiting the courts.
All rules & regulations are subject to change, and all changes will be posted. Failure to comply with these rules may result in suspension of resident's recreational privileges.
